Delete Your Account & Data

Skolari is provided to families and staff through their school. This page explains how to request deletion of your Skolari account and the personal data associated with it, what is removed, what may be retained, and how long it takes.
How to request deletion
You can request account and data deletion in either of these ways:
1. Contact your school. Your school administers Skolari and controls student and family records, so the fastest route is to ask your school administrator to remove your account.
2. Email us. Send a request to demo@skolari.ai with the subject "Delete my account", from the email address on your account. Include your full name and your school's name so we can verify the request.
We verify every request (to protect against unauthorized deletion) and coordinate with your school before removing data.
What is deleted
- Your account profile — name, email address, phone number, and sign-in identity.
- Personal data we hold that is directly associated with your account, including your notification preferences and messages you have sent, subject to your school's recordkeeping obligations below.
What may be retained
- School and student records. Enrollment, grades, attendance, and similar records are education records owned and controlled by your school under FERPA. Deletion of these records is directed by your school in line with its retention policy and legal obligations, not by Skolari alone.
- Financial and billing records. Tuition and payment records may be retained for the period required by law (for example, tax and accounting rules) and are then deleted.
- Security and audit logs may be retained for a limited period to protect the service, then purged. Routine backups are deleted on a rolling schedule.
How long it takes
We acknowledge deletion requests within a few business days and complete deletion of your account and associated personal data within 30 days, with removal from backups within 90 days — unless a longer retention period is required by law or by your school's records obligations.
